Today, details were officially released of the new 2012-13 Official BBL T20 Big Bash Cricket Trading cards which are set for release on or around December 7th 2012.
This new release is by SE Products (Sports Entertainment Products) under license from Cricket Australia. Its in an interesting twist from a distribution perspective in the that the product is exclusively available via JHL Marketing, which as many know, is Select's sole trading cards distributor, which relinquished its Cricket Australia license after its failed 2010-11 Ashes Series Boxed Collection, after a popular release in 2009-10.
This release is super-limited in that only 100 x 16-box cases are being produced, making it one of the most-limited production cricket cards in recent times.
The product starts with a 106-card Base Set, Australian Team Rep cards (1:4 Packs) of Test Players, ODI's and T20 players and is loaded with plenty of signature cards, in fact - 3200 of them, featuring 16 different players!

The 'Piece of the Action' card, features an Authentic Match-Worn Test Shirt of Shane Watson, and these are inserted 1:576 (roughly 1 per case).
Well-known players in the set include Shane Warne, Ricky Ponting, Shaun Tait, Michael Clarke, Adam Vogues, Brad Haddin, Brett Lee, Mitchell Starc and Ben Hilfenhaus.
Get in quick, because with only 1600 boxes, with most containing up to 2 sig's per box they are going to fly out the door!
